Although spiritual warfare is well-documented throughout the Gospels, the book of Acts, and alluded to in the Epistles, many contemporary believers reject this aspect of the Christian life. It is true that some will speak of the reality of Satan and His Kingdom and may take note of the evil that happens in the world. However, when it comes to challenging the Kingdom of Darkness, many run in the opposite direction. Indeed, some even suggest that we do not have to approach warfare the same way Jesus and the Apostles approached it, because now we have the “completed” Word of God. This is precisely the reason for this book.
